Significant spiritual growth may feel like a mini death and in a lot of ways it is. As we grow and change, old parts of us, outdated patterns, friends, environments and old desires shift as well.
Transformation Can Be Uncomfortable
GO. WITH. THE. FLOW. Easier said than done, I know! But there's only one thing harder: Resisting the flow. Often things get the most tough, unwound and chaotic right before a transformation. A knee jerk reaction to dig your heels in and cling to all your baggage is understandable but it's not effective. No real growth process operates like a light switch (although the initial "ah-ha!" realization moment makes it feel that way).
