I love a mindful mix of science & woo (it’s so adorable when science “catches up” to ancient/indigenous practices).
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) are courses that teach mindfulness as a way to explore & heal anything from stress and anxiety to the effects of chronic pain and PTSD.

Chances are, if you're evaluating the worth of one of your relationships, you're evaluating your Life on the whole. It'd be really choppy to step into a new life and work to retain the same cast of characters. As we grow, things come and go out of our bubble, people included, it's just how it works.

1st of all, ALL planets have a retrograde but because Mercury reps the areas in our life that have to do with communication, learning and travel, we feel it big time.
Mercury Retrograde isn't here to f up your life! It's actually a cosmically perfect time to review and reflect on where you've come from since the last retrograde. Going inside and practicing silence will allow the lessons and themes we need to re-asses to rise to the surface. Retrogrades can be amazing times to reset, plant new seeds and redirect energy and focus.
By now you may given up that New Years Resolution to eat healthy, drink less, you know, something vague and probably unrealistic. Or maybe you're following a growing trend to do away with resolutions altogether. Hey, I get it. The less we expect of ourselves, the less we have to be disappointed about.

For most of us this is true: We are the hardest on ourselves. You wouldn’t dare talk to a friend or child like you do to yourself (Get of of bed, why are you napping?! You think you can fuggin eat that?! Oh really, you think you can pull off that promotion!?). It’s not cool and despite what we think, that prodding, negative self talk isn’t going to motivate us into changing
We tend to drink more in summer, plain and simple. The days are longer, the events, weddings and celebrations are seemingly endless and our more active summer MO gives us the perfect excuse to drink more. It's a three month party! Drinking consciously in summer can be hard for some. But not impossible!
It doesn't take a Google search to conclude that thanksgiving and ceremony before mealtime has fallen by the wayside. In our attempts to maximize our day, we tend to pair the time to nourish our bodies with email checking, driving or getting a pedicure (I've seen it!). Imagine a meal where you paused before your first bite instead of digging right in...seems almost revolutionary.
